That's a good feature. Now, I'm curious to know if the built-in temp monitor will turn-off the battery in case of overheating is detected or you can just manually turn-off via the app connected thru bluetooth.

I think walang issue based sa mga explanation about Lithium battery.
According sa youtube video above, Lithium battery accepts all power source.

With regards sa jumpstarting another car, may internal BMS naman yung readygo battery to protect it. Actually it will automatically shutoff if below 30% na yung reserve capacity so that you can still crank your car the start mo. Iwas diskarga.

Over Temperature

"Unlike lead-acid or lithium cobalt oxide batteries, lithium iron phosphate batteries operate efficiently and safely at temperatures up to 60 deg. C or more. But at higher operating and storage temperatures, as with all batteries, the electrode materials will begin to degrade. The BMS of a lithium battery uses embedded thermistors to actively monitor the temperature during operation, and it will disconnect the battery from the circuit at a specified temperature."

Yes made in China ReadyGo (as like everything else) but German design/technology under Eurocontrol Switchgear Corp.

Btw, I happened to visit there Makati dealer and ask about how ReadyGo battery will help to achieve 5-10% fuel consumption savings as advertised.

Ito yung sagot dun sa flyer about fuel consumption:

I tried sampling the ambient temperature of the underhood of my car and it reached +60 deg. .. it may be different for the battery.

Underhood temperature = 61.6 deg. C
Engine coolant temperature = 94 deg. C

Sige ba paps. Pero actually natanong ko na sakanya yan, never daw lumampas ng 50C ung body temp ng battery. I'll have this asked again after a month ng upgrade nya.

Isa din yan si rex maselan sa oto.
