Conduction-based Temporary Plate
Good evening,

RE: Conduction-based Temporary Plate
If you bought your car after February 15, 2017, you are mandated to have a temporary uniform temporary plate. Hindi mo maibbyahe ang unit without the OR/CR at nandun an MV File number na isusulat sa temporary plate. See link below.

It's not set in stone pero si Dealer dapat ang magbibigay nito so wag ka ng magpagawa sa iba dahil sayang lang kung may free na kasama.

Got my OR/CR 2 weeks after the purchase date
Got my temporary license plate 2.5 weeks after purchase date

RE: Conduction-based Temporary Plate
@emjieskie, they are all correct. Your dealer will provide. The one that they provide is OK. The conduction numbers are made of cut-out reflectorized sticker. But you have to write the MV file number.

Anyway in my case, nagpagawa ako ng customized na metal plates (embossed conduction number with colored Mitsubishi logo) but still following the LTO standard. I spent 600 pesos pero naisip ko mga 2 years ko rin naman magagamit yun. Last time I checked with my dealer, units bought last September 2015 pa lang ang nare-receive nila na plaka from LTO.
