Disengage Immobilizer

RE: Disengage Immobilizer
Problem Solved!

I'm not sure what actually worked. But as far as I can remember, this is what I did.

1. There is a button below the dashboard almost near the break pedal. Pressed it for about 5-10 secs. Then steady blue light illuminated from the alarm indicator lamp(not sure what to call this but this is that normally is blinking after you lock your car).
2. Put the FAST key on the holder. In a few seconds, all the lights in the dashboard turned off.
3. Get out of the car, windows closed. Locked the car using the remote, then unlock. Tried starting the car and it did!

I actually didn't expect this to work. Everyone we asked including Mitsubishi tells us that my car needs to be scanned and reprogramming may cost up to 25K!

I feel relieved but also a little bit frustrated because this simple solution is not even in the manual and mitsubishi didn't even gave this instruction to try.

Thanks everyone. Hope this would help others who will encounter this problem.
