Instead of the regular thermal wrap .. I intend to use this



but I have to defer it due to other priorities .. short sa budget kasi..

most thermal wraps are asbestos based so ingat lang or use with care. Also if you are using cast iron/steel headers hindi sya advisable because the trapped moisture will speed up the rust build up sa headers. I had a bad lesson on this. nag le leak na pala headers ko because of the wraps... some friend tuners of mine ended up removing the wraps because ot thermal efficiency issues. yung sa mirage ok lang wala wraps kasi sa backside yung exhaust nya. unlike some cars na sa front yung exhaust kaya need ng wraps. or the best alternative is to ceramic coat mo yung headers inside and outside the pipes. pricey sya pero much better than using thermal wraps.

Thanks bro sa tips! Actually gusto ko sana ceramic coating pero parang wala ako makita gumagawa nun dito :/ So inisip ko next option nalang is stainless steel headers na may exhaust/thermal wrap. Mas ok daw stainless steel kesa cast iron from preventing rust due to moisture of wraps.

just make sure na T-304 yun stainless pipe na gagamitin mo. This type is designed for high heat and corrosion resistant..
